On Saturday, October 7, Fair Game in Downers Grove will be hosting a Wilds of Eldraine Draft Store Championship event! Join us at 5 PM at our Downers Grove location and compete for exclusive "Fair Game" store championship cards.

Preregistration for the events is incredibly important. Seats are limited. Please register in advance of the event.

Format

During these draft events, each participant will receive 3 Wilds of Eldraine draft boosters. They will draft these boosters in a "pod" of other players, picking 1 card from each pack as they pass them around the table. Players will use these cards to build a 40-card limited deck (borrowing basic lands from the store or using lands they brought from home). All participants will then play three best-of-three matches, being paired up against opponents with a similar record. Read more about the draft format here.

Prizes

The top-performing player will receive a foil Moonshaker Cavalry The top eight performing participants will receive copies of Transcendant Message. In addition, two draft packs of Lord of the Rings per player will be entered into the prize pool. At the conclusion of the event, all players will receive a prize, with participants who went undefeated receiving twice as many packs as those who went X-1, and with all players leaving with at least one pack.

Before the Event

Please show up 15 minutes before the scheduled start time to have time to check-in. Participants will need an official Wizards account to participate. If you do not have an account, you can create one for free here. Participants should download the Magic Companion app for the event. This app will be used for pairings and reporting. You can download that app here.
