Young adventurers & their parents are invited to sign up for our Parent/Child adventure on Saturday, March 25 at Fair Game Downers Grove. This two-hour adventure is great for parents who want to introduce D&D to a new generation, as well as young players who want their parents to understand more about their favorite game.

Each entry will accommodate one player aged 8-17 and an accompanying parent.  Previous D&D experience and involvement in our Youth Dungeons & Dragons program is not needed, nor is any knowledge of D&D or other tabletop role-playing games. We will provide and teach you everything you need to know about Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition.

Preregistration is very important! These events traditionally sell out, so please reserve your spot if you would like to participate.

Additional Information

1. Please review our player Code of Conduct.
2. We will provide dice, character sheets, and all other materials needed for the game. All you need to brings is a sense of boundless creativity and a sense of adventure.
3. Kids must be ages 8-17 to participate. If you would like to bring more than one child or more than one parent, please register for your seat and email [email protected] with more information. We will let you know if the table is able to accommodate another player.
4. We will have pregenerated character options available for players. If you would like to choose your character in advance, you will find them here. If you would like to build your own character for the event, you are welcome to create your own following the guidelines found here. If your young player is involved in our YDND program already, they are welcome to use their same character.
