The classic Chinese game of Mah Jongg originated in the Qing Dynasty. Its name means "chattering sparrow" after of the sound of its tiles being shuffled.
Participants will learn the basics of Hong Kong Mah Jongg over the course of the 2 hour session. You must be 16 or older to participate.
There are many benefits to playing Mah Jongg. The game helps improve memory skills and sharpen the mind, as well as teach patience while making fast decisions and observations ... which is probably why the game is also known as "the Game of Intelligences."
Fair Game manager Eric Bennion is excited to host this class for the Fair Game community!
