What happens when your draft comes with a little something extra?

Join us for Magic Presents: Reality Echoes, a special Pick-Two Draft featuring the new Echoed Pairs mechanic from Magic: The Gathering: Reality Fracture!

Each Reality Fracture Play Booster contains three legendary cards from the Echoed Pair bonus sheet: two cards that form a true pair and one unpaired legendary. Draft both cards from a matching pair, and you'll unlock a powerful bonus you can use during the games that follow.

How It Works

This event uses the Pick-Two Draft format. Players will draft from three Reality Fracture Play Boosters, passing packs around the table as normal.

During the draft, keep an eye out for Echoed Pairs. If you draft both different legendary cards that make up a matching pair, you can use that pair to gain a special advantage during the game.

Before each game, you may reveal one complete Echoed Pair you've drafted. Those two cards begin the game in exile. During the game, you may cast one of those cards as though it were in your hand. When you do, you may shuffle the other card into your library.

A few things to keep in mind:

• You don't have to draft an Echoed Pair to participate. You can draft normally and play without the mechanic.
• You can draft multiple complete pairs, but you'll choose only one pair to use before each game.
• Two copies of the same legendary card do not make a pair. You need both different cards from a specific Echoed Pair.
• If you draft an unpaired legendary from one pack, don't give up. You may find its matching card in a later pack.
• If you don't end up with a complete pair, you can still play your deck normally.

The result is a Pick-Two Draft with a little more build-around potential and consistency, giving you an interesting strategic decision every time you open a pack.
