The adventure begins as The Hobbit comes to Magic: The Gathering! Join us at Fair Game Downers Grove for a Sealed Prerelease event celebrating Magic: The Gathering – The Hobbit!

This event will be a four-hour, three-round Swiss tournament. Participants will each receive one Hobbit Prerelease Kit, 50 minutes to construct a 40-card deck using only the cards from their kit, and then compete in a three-round tournament. Each round will be 50 minutes and consist of best-of-three matches. (Please note: we will open Prerelease Kits as they are distributed to discourage players from dropping before the tournament begins.)

There will also be a prize pool of two Hobbit Play Booster Packs per participant. Every participant will receive one booster pack, with additional packs awarded based on final tournament standings.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the event will be refunded as store credit only.
