Wingspan is a delightful engine-building card game about birds from Stonemaier Games. During the game, 1-5 players collect resources to add different species of birds to their habitat. This process is initially very straightforward, but as gameplay progresses and players add more species of birds to their board, each action sets off a chain reaction that accelerates players towards competing for bonus points.

With 170 different bird cards included in the base game (and even more in the expansions), every game promises to be different, giving Wingspan a considerable amount of replay value.

You are bird enthusiasts—researchers, bird watchers, ornithologists, and collectors—seeking to discover and attract the best birds to your aviary. Each bird extends a chain of powerful combinations in one of your habitats (actions). These habitats focus on several key aspects of growth:

• • Gain food tokens via custom dice in a birdfeeder dice tower
  • Lay eggs using egg miniatures in a variety of colors
  • Draw from hundreds of unique bird cards and play them

The winner is the player with the most points accumulated from birds, bonus cards, end-of-round goals, eggs, cached food, and tucked birds.

New printings now also include a "swift-start pack". This pack includes 4 guides and 10 new bird cards to help guide new players through their first game of Wingspan.
